Organization's profile

The Conservatoire National des Arts et Métiers is a French institution of long standing (1794) and deep scientific tradition.
It acomplishes three interrelated missions:
Lifelong Education for students and working professionals.
Research in science, technology and management,
Diffusion of this knowledge.
Today, 80 000 people, in France (5 000 in Pays de la Loire Region) are enrolled in our professional and management development programs and 7 000 students are earning an undergraduate, graduate or doctoral degree.
We held over 350 national and international conferences managed over 5 million in research contracts.
Association Régionale du Conservatoire National des Arts et Métiers trains 5000 students, every year. Half of them through distance learning systems that were created in Nantes then widspread all over France and many other countries.
Bernard Daurensan is the president of ARCNAM des Pays de la Loire.
Vincent Baholet is the general manager.
François Calvez is in charge of distance learning in our organisation.
Eric Delalonde is in charge, together with Alain Meyer, of Etutors project.
