Organization's profile

CINEL is a monogram, an abbreviation form for "Centro de Formação Profissional da Indústria Electrónica". This Vocational Training Center was created through a protocol subscribed by the "Instituto de Emprego e Formação Profissional" (IEFP) and "Associação Portuguesa das Empresas do Sector Eléctrico e Electrónico" (ANIMEE), on 9th January 1985 and ratified by Government Decree N.º 362/87, dated April 30th, emanated from the Ministry of Labour and Social Security. CINEL is a complete legal entity of public affairs, having no profit aims, with administrative and financial autonomy and possessing its own patrimony.

Its goal is to promote vocational training courses in electronic and telecommunications, to increase the values of human resources in the area.

CINEL is certificate in the Quality System according to EN NP ISO 9001, covering diagnostic, planning, concept, organisation, accomplishment and training survey.
