Organization's profile 

The Gesellschaft für Projektentwicklung und Innovation (GPI) mbH (Centre for project development and innovation) supports companies in developing their human resources and organization by providing consulting, training and coaching as well as additional scientific services.

Projects the GPI is in charge of aim at the development of innovative approaches to in-company further training along with their transfer into the region Bremen/Bremerhaven and Lower Saxony and within transnational co-operations also into the foreign countries of Europe.

For this purpose results from science and research as well as examples of best practice are made available to the industry and the working world tailored to their needs and practice.

In the planning and implementation of development/pilot projects and transfer projects the GPI cooperates with companies, chambers, associations and social partners, academic institutes, further training organizations as well as with European partners.

Depending on the project the GPI-Team is supported by experts from the area of academic research and teaching, the corporate world and the further training sector as well as by transnational partners.

Primary fields of activity:

    • Project development and project management in the areas of HR and organization
    • Company-related consulting, training and coaching in the fields of age management, health prevention and continuous improvement
    • Support of regional authorities in devising and implementing innovative concepts of personnel and organization development
    • Training of tutors and trainers
    • Training of instructors
    • Development of concepts for lifelong learning
    • Development of concepts for e-learning
    • Expert activities in vocational training programs (EU-Commission, BIBB)
    • The projects developed and carried out by the GPI are funded or commissioned by the countries Bremen and Lower Saxony, by federal ministries, by various EU programs as well as other public or private organizations in the area of employment, industry and education.
