Learning Design & Development in e-learning

Up one level

The concept of “Learning Design” refers broadly to the planning and sequencing of learning activities in a course or session. It’s possible to say that Learning Design exists since there are Learning activities. In fact, since ever, in a traditional face-to-face context, many teachers may have consciously engaged in the process of learning design in this general sense as part of everyday lesson planning, whilst other teachers may never have given it much thought, but nonetheless make subconscious learning design decisions every time they prepare a teaching session.
