Delivery Tools

Sub-Area Description

e-Learning in its broadest sense makes use of a wide range of technologies and media.  These technologies can be categorized by delivery media or interaction tools.  Learners will often perform better with one or other technology and rarely perform equally well on all technology scenarios.

Some e-Learning providers (colleges & companies) opt for systems that are a mix of best of breed technologies while others may go for a one-vendor holisitc solution.  Learning Management Systems (LMS) are increasingly providing an intergared suite of delivery tools.
